Three-time Grammy Award-winning a cappella vocal group Pentatonix first formed in 2011 and auditioned for season three of NBC's talent competition The Sing-Off not long after, going on to win the show, as well as $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music's Epic Records. Upon leaving Epic Records, the group decided to promote their music via their own YouTube channel, uploading videos of their original songs, and covers and arrangements of chart hits and Christmas songs. Pentatonix' YouTube channel is now the 50th most-subscribed-to YouTube channel, with over 13 million subscribers and 2.7 billion views. PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I, their latest studio album, is slated for 2018 release.
