His debut self-titled album also merited the gold record award.  There was no stopping Blake Shelton, ever since, to earn his star on the galaxy of country music.  His succeeding albums also sparkled with gold record awards.  Twenty four chart-topping singles, which include fourteen number ones and three additional Top Tens –Blake Shelton has further fortified his star power with four Grammy Award nominations, and several wins at the Country Music Association Awards,  Academy of Country Music Awards, among many others.  Apart from ‘The Voice’,  Shelton has served as judge in televised singing competitions ‘Nashville Star’ and  ’Clash of the Choirs’.
