American comedian Dave Chappelle demonstrated unusual comedic talent since his first film appearance in “Robin Hood: Men in Tights” in 1993. He propelled into fame and became one of the most talented performers with the sketch comedy TV series Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central. It lasted three amazing seasons and re-runs frequently on air around the world.

New Zealand’s set of two hilarious performers and singers Bret McKenzie and Jermaine Clement starred in an HBO television series titled Flight of the Conchords which received an Emmy nomination for Best Comedy.  In 2005, they were named Best Alternative Comedy Act at the US Comedy Arts Festival and Best Newcomer at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
