Trespass America Festival: Five Finger Death Punch, Killswitch Engage & Trivium at The Meadows Music Theatre

Trespass America Festival is going out of its way and treading on unchartered territories in several parts of the U.S.A.  It is set to invade the Comcast Theatre (formerly Meadows Music Theater), in Hartford, Connecticut on the 15th of August, Wednesday, starting at 5:00 PM

Five Finger Death is first on the list of bands headlining the Trespass America Festival.  They’re taking their heavy/groove/nu metal sound to the live concert circuit.  The band caused a big stir among the new generation of metal rockers with their astonishing debut and sophomore albums — “The Way of the Fist” and “War Is The Answer”, respectively.  With these two albums, they amassed album sales of over 500,000 copies each in the United States.

Next up is the band Killswitch Engage, who are more of rock music festival veterans.  They are said to have founded and defined the metalcore movement in America.  They rose to fame with the album “End of Heartache’ in 2004 and got a Grammy nomination in 2005.  The band has sold over four-million records in the United States alone.

Trivium has been rocking since 1999,and was branded as a heavy metal act.  Yet, their music has undergone an evolution by combining it with several metal elements such as thrash metal, progressive metal, alternative metal, groove metal, and death metal.
