O.A.R. Summer Crush Tour 2012 at The Meadows Music Theatre

All roads now lead to the Comacast Theatre, Hartford Connecticut for a one-night only performance of O.A.R.  Catch their concert,  billed as the Summer Crush Tour, on 2nd August 2012, Thursday, 7:00 PM.

O.A.R. (a.k.a. Of A Revolution) is an indie-band success story.  They’re the perfect illustration of stuff that college-band-dreams are made  — making a significant music impact even without the major label machine.  Without any professional marketing training, and flashy advertising strategies,  the band became campus heroes at their alma matter, The Ohio State University, and gained an online fan base as their single “Risen” debuted at #11 on Billboard’s top internet sales charts.

Soon enough, labels came knocking at their doors; and they clinched a deal with Lava Records which released their major label debut album “Stories of A Stranger” in 2005.   Audiences grew soon enough that they reached a new popularity peak with their N.Y. Madison Square Garden gig that drew in over 18,000 fans.  In 2006, records show that O.A.R. had officially sold in excess of 1.2 million albums over their career.
