It's going to be a young country night at the Xfinity Theatre on Saturday 24th June 2017 with a lineup including Maren Morris and Chris Janson in support of the amazing Sam Hunt!! Get your tickets quick for this sellout event!
Originally pursuing a career as a footballer, Sam Hunt dropped it unexpectedly and moved to Nashville to be a musician instead – and has found success after success. Breaking one stereotype after another, teaming up with musicians who may not have given him a second glance being “a football kind of a guy,” breaking into the pop mainstream whilst drawing new fans into the soul of country, Hunt has also stuck to deeply honest and in many ways vulnerable material for his albums.
On the 1st Feb he dropped his new single; “Body Like A Back Road” which has just aired on country radio and is now officially available for streaming and digital download. The song, like much of Hunt's material is deeply personal, a reflection on his engagement to Hannah Lee Fowler – a happy turn of events after his song “Drinkin' Too Much,” released at the beginning of the year and pointing evidently to a painful breakup between the two. Carefree and warm, this is a super chilled, radio-friendly offering that and is bound to be almost universally popular. Once again, Hunt shows his versatility, proudly displaying his country origins while adding to them with hip-hop drums and pop harmonies. As for the impending new album, though, he's keeping quiet, not even saying what the name of it is, though we're pretty sure we're going to see a 2017 release… to find out more, you'll have to go see him yourself!!
