Championed by country star Jason Aldean when working as a songwriter in Nashville, Brantley Gilbert has since earned his stripes as a name in his own right. His 2009 debut album, Modern Day Prodigal Son, hit the country charts and number 58, and lead to a record contract with Colt Ford's Average Joes Entertainment. Gilbert went on to sign with Valory Music Co., and has released three major-label albums and eleven country chart entries, four of which have gone to number one. The Devil Don't Sleep, his latest album, went straight to number 2 on the Billboard 200, reaching number one on the Top Country Albums Chart.
